Fjærlandsfjord, full day roundtrip from Bergen

Enjoy this lovely fjord sightseeing tour between Balestrand and Fjærland, known as the village beneath the glacier.

Along the fjord we will pass nice settlements, waterfalls and steep mountains. Fjærland is situated where the glacier and the fjord meet. Parts of the great Jostedalsbreen - the largest glacier on mainland Europe are to be seen. In Fjærland you also find the Norwegian Glacier Museum, the Norwegian Book Town and the distinctive Hotel Mundal, built in 1891.Well worth visiting!

Dep. Strandkaiterminal, Bergen 08:00. Express boat sailing northbound along the coast before heading into the great Sognefjord. In Balestrand we change for the ferry to Fjærland, a scenic 1,5 hour sightseeing cruise before arriving Fjærland.

An awaiting shuttle bus takes you to the Bøyabreen glacier and to the Norwegian Glacier Centre.

We spend approx. 2 hours in Fjærland before we return and sail to Balestrand and further to Bergen. Arr. Bergen 20:40.
