A Eurail/Interrail pass entitles you to a 30% discount on ordinary one-way tickets.

NB! Tickets must be purchased locally in Norway at any manned train station or by calling NSB call Centre, and they are not currently available at nsb.no or visitflam.com

Frequently asked questions

[Flamsbana] If I purchase a round-trip ticket, can I get off at any of the stations along the journey?

There will be a 5 minute stop at Kjosfossen waterfall where you will be able to get off the train and take pictures. If you book a round-trip ticket there will also be a stop in Myrdal, which will last approximately 10 minutes. It is also possible to get off the train in Myrdal.

[Flamsbana] Which is the best side to sit on the train?

Both sides of the train offer spectacular views of the valley.

[Flamsbana] What can we do in Myrdal?

Myrdal is a small mountain train station. There is a café and a souvenir shop, which are open during the summer season.

[Flamsbana] Is the Flam Railway station far from the ferry habor?

No the ferry habor is only 20 meters from the train station.
