Key Account Manager – international market

Flåm AS is one of Norway’s leading travel organizations and the largest travel destination outside the big cities. Flåm AS and related companies run destination developments with global sales and distribution, hotels, cafe, bakery, restaurants, the Flåm Railway and fjord sightseeing tours, a Visitor Centre and more. The collected revenue is approximately 600 million NOK. Today there are 120 year-round employees and 200 seasonal workers. The business is thriving and constantly growing.

Your responsibilities:

- Responsible for sales in specific geographical markets including budgets and profit focus

- Responsible for assigned customer portfolio

- Planning and implementing sales strategy measures

- Conduct and follow up negotiations with our clients

- Conduct sales and build relationships with our clients

- Be part of and contribute to a future-oriented sales team

- Drive for digitalization of services

- Follow up and further develop internal routines for the sales department

 

Qualifications:

- Higher education, and / or relevant experience in sales, marketing, tourism

- Good financial understanding and experience with budgeting and accounting

- Experience from B2B sales and team building

- Experience with client negotiations

- Good language skills and ability to communicate both written and orally in Norwegian, English and possibly another foreign language

 

About you:

- Be able to work with accuracy, be well structured and be target focused

- Good written and oral language skills both in Norwegian and English and other foreign languages

- Good communication and relations skills, good at facilitating business opportunities and getting in touch with clients

- Be able to handle large work loads and be continuously productive

- Good knowledge of administrative data systems and tools such as Word, Excel, Super Office, etc

 

Salary by agreement – other working conditions are in accordance with Flåm AS’s guidelines.
